“This is the best job I’ve ever had. You have a great team to support you and a
very rewarding summer.” – Local coordinator from 2019

Why Work for SWSE

An integral part of the SWSE program are the local and support coordinators, who act as primary contact points for youth participants, develop and run activities, liaise with community partners, and are ambassadors for the program in regions across the country.

SWSE staff have the opportunity to develop many varied job skills like conflict resolution, administration, working as part of a team and gaining heightened awareness of their local community. As a SWSE coordinator, you would be part of a national network of post-secondary students and have a large part in shaping the experience and lives of a group of 16- and 17-year-olds. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!
