The YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange (SWSE) program is a national exchange program for 16 and 17 year olds living in Canada. What makes this program special is that youth travel to a community in Canada where they live and work in their second language. They are provided meaningful and paid employment in public sector or non-profit jobs. Their summer employment experience gives youth a chance to contribute and make an impact in communities across the country.
THE EARLY BIRD DRAW: The prize (includes a backpack, a $20 gift card and travel supplies. Total prize value doesn’t exceed $150) is available to those who apply before February 26, 2023 11:59 pm EST and are accepted to the 2023 Summer Work Student Exchange (SWSE) program www.swse.ymcagta.org. The prize winner will be drawn on Monday, May 29, 2023. A name will be drawn by random computer process, and the winner will be contacted by phone or email. If we cannot reach the winner by Sunday, June 4, 2023 11:59pm EST another name will be drawn. Once a winner is selected, the prize will be given to the winner before Saturday, July 1, 2023 via mail. Open to legal residents of Canada who are 16 or 17 years old and are accepted to the SWSE program. Officers, directors and employees of the YMCA of Greater Toronto as well as advertising and promotion agencies and YMCA of Greater Toronto partners subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, sales representatives are ineligible to win the prize. Household Members and Immediate Family Members of such individuals are also not eligible to win. No cash value; not for resale or transferable; non-refundable. Offer valid until February 26, 2023.
